COC's 10-Game Conference Winning Streak Snapped by Glendale
The College of the Canyons baseball team had its 10-game conference-win streak snapped, as Glendale College defeated the Cougars 6-1 on Thursday afternoon.

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - The College of the Canyons baseball team had its 10-game conference-win streak snapped, as Glendale College defeated the Cougars 6-1 on Thursday afternoon.
Pitcher Ryan Cruz suffered his first loss of the season, while giving up four runs in six innings of work.
Glendale jumped out to an early 4-0 lead after two innings. The Cougars weren't able to score a run until the top of the ninth, when Corey Sims hit a base hit to drive in the only run of the day.
Infielders Trey Williams and Quincy Quintero combined for three hits and a run scored.
The Cougars will host Citrus on Thursday, April 11 for a 2:30 p.m. start time.
