VALLEY GLEN, Calif. – The College of the Canyons baseball team won its fourth straight game on Tuesday afternoon after taking care of LA Valley, 4-1.
Pitcher Ryan Cruz (3-2) earned the win after almost tossing another complete game. He went 8.2 innings and gave up one run on seven hits. Timothy Han earned his second save of the season after facing one batter in the ninth with bases loaded and two outs.
Dylan Freyre had three hits in the win and recorded two RBIs, while Justin Russell and Austin Cole went 2-for-4 each.
The Cougars return to action on Thursday, March 13 as they host West LA College.
