College of the Canyons baseball team gave up a 4-0 lead on Saturday against LA Mission College to fall to the Eagles, 7-5, snapping the Cougars five-game win streak.

SYLMAR, Calif. – College of the Canyons baseball team gave up a 4-0 lead on Saturday against LA Mission College to fall to the Eagles, 7-5, snapping the Cougars five-game win streak. With the loss, Canyons drops to 9-9-1 overall and 5-1 in conference games.
The Cougars gave up 15 hits in the loss to Mission and only garnered 10 as a team. First baseman Roberto Ramos went 2-of-4 with three RBIs and center fielder Nick Vigo was 2-of-3 on the afternoon with one run and a triple.
Starting pitcher Chad Bennett went 3.1 innings after giving up six hits and four runs. Ryan Paramo turned in 3.2 innings, allowing seven hits and three runs and Julien Garcia tossed one inning of scoreless relief.
Canyons will host Bakersfield College on Tuesday, March 18 at 2:30 p.m.
