Bible and Lepre Named CCCBCA Co-Players of the Week
The award is based in the player's performance the week of March 28 to April 2.

College of the Canyons baseball players Chad Bible and Anthony Lepre have been named Co-Players of the Week by the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association (CCCBCA) based on their performance the week of March 28 to April 2.
The No. 4 regionally ranked Cougars plated 47 runs in its three-game sweep of West L.A. College last week, with Lepre and Bible leading the way.
On Tuesday, Bible finished the game 3-for-4 with a home run and six RBIs. The outfielder finished the week with a .583 batting average (7-for-12), seven runs and nine RBIs.
In Thursday's contest Lepre went 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs and four RBIs, while also catching all nine innings. For the week Lepre batted .571 (8-for-14) with three home runs, five runs and seven RBIs.
Canyons has since moved up the rankings and is currently the No. 2 tam in Southern California, according to the most recent coaches poll.
The Cougars also sit in first place in the Western State Conference, South Division.
