No. 14 Canyons to Host No. 22 Cerritos on Saturday
All fans arriving at the stadium in Halloween costume on Saturday will be admitted into the game for FREE.
No. 14 College of the Canyons will host Northern League opponent Cerritos College at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Cougar Stadium.
The game will also be live streamed to fans through a broadcast partnership with SoCalCollegeSports.com, with longtime Cougar football play-by-play man Joe Soriano on the call.

In addition, all fans arriving at the stadium in costume on Saturday will be admitted into the game for free, provided their costume is appropriate for a family atmosphere and does not pose a safety/security concern.
General admission tickets are $5. As always, kids 10 and under are free!
Canyons will enter as the No. 14 ranked team in the state, according to the most recent California Community College Football Poll, as compiled by the J.C. Athletic Bureau. The Cougars are also ranked No. 8 in the California Community Colleges Football Coaches Association regional poll.
Meanwhile, Cerritos is ranked No. 22 by the J.C. Athletic Bureau, and No. 10 in the coaches poll. A full list of rankings can be found here.
Last week, the Cougars delivered a 40-16 home win over Moorpark College, as COC finished the night with 523 yards of total offense while not turning the ball over. Highlights from that game can be found here.
COC quarterback Andrew Brito finished the night 20-of-29 for 395 yards and four touchdowns, while connecting with eight different receivers. As a result of his performance, Brito was named the Southern California Football Association (SCFA) National Division, Northern League Offensive Player of the Week.
Cerritos was defeated 24-17 by Bakersfield College in week eight. Prior to that the Falcons had won three of their last four games.
Last season, the Falcons were able to hold off Canyons for a 24-21 home win. Cerritos has now defeated COC in three straight, with the Cougars' last victory in the series coming in the form of a 27-10 home win back in 2013.
