No. 3 Canyons to Begin Postseason Journey at No. 2 Golden West
Canyons (8-2, 3-2) and Golden West will kick off at 12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27.
College of the Canyons will begin its postseason journey at 12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, as the No. 3 seed Cougars travel to take on No. 2 Golden West College in the opening round of the Southern California Football Association (SCFA) regional playoffs.

General admission tickets to SCFA playoff games are $12. Kids under 12, seniors over 60 and staff/studens from both schools are $8. Fans can now purchase advance tickets to Saturday's game through the CCCAA's electronic ticketing service provided by HomeTown Ticketing.
Canyons (8-2, 3-2) enters the postseason having lost its last two games to East L.A. and Ventura College. COC picked up a forfeit victory vs. Long Beach City College after that game, the regular season finale, had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 protocals. Prior to that, Canyons had beaten state ranked opponents Fullerton, Palomar, Riverside City, Bakersfield and Allan Hancock College in successive weeks.
Golden West (10-0, 5-0) remained undefeated after also getting a week three forfeit victory over Bakersfield College. The Rustlers were champions of the SCFA National Divison, Southern League for the first time in program history.
COC concluded the regular season ranked No. 6 in the final California Community College Sports Information Association (CCCSIA) poll. The Cougars also ranked No. 6 in the statewide JC Athletic Bureau Coaches Poll. Golden West ranks No. 3 in both the CCCSIA poll and the JC Athletic Bureau's list.
