Mike Heim begins his third season as a member of the Cougar football coaching staff.

Heim joined the staff in 2016 and serves as the program’s defensive line coach. He specializes in working with the team’s defensive ends.

When not coaching football, Heim is a physical education instructor in the Palmdale School District.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Lock Haven University and a master’s degree from United States Sports Academy.

In his free time Heim enjoys watching wrestling, judo and other combative sports, as well as partaking in outdoor recreation activities and spending time with his wife, Yolanda, and children Erica and Alex.
