The College of the Canyons men's basketball team suffered an 85-66 road loss to No. 17 Antelope Valley College on Wednesday night.
Canyons (5-14, 0-7) outrebounded the Marauders by a 45-33 margin, but also turned over the ball 15 more times than AVC.
Sophomore guard Victor Nwaba led the Cougs with 17 points and five rebounds.
Freshman guard James Chevious added 13 points and six rebounds for Canyons.
