Cougars Fall Short in 92-62 Home Loss to Citrus College

The College of the Canyons men's basketball team was defeated 92-62 to Citrus College on Wednesday night, as the Cougars went to battle with just seven players available to head coach Howard Fisher.
Canyons (5-18, 0-11) has never been completely healthy this season, with injuries limiting the contributions of several key players.
On Wednesday, the visiting Owls shot a combined 62.5 percent from behind the arc, which helped pace a 51-22 halftime lead.
Canyons responded in the second half and kept an even pace with Citrus the rest of the way, but by then the damage had been done.
Despite committing just five turnovers in the game and scoring more points in the paint, the Cougars still fell short.
