Cougars Keep Control 93-71 vs. West Hills Coalinga
Canyons (4-3) had three players score in double-digits with freshman Christopher Bradford leading the way with 20 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and four steals.

The Cougars shot better than 50 percent from the field and had four starters score in double figures to defeat visiting West Hills Coalinga College 93-71 on Saturday night at the MacArthur Center.
Canyons (4-3) also recorded a season-high 27 assists on 37 field goals, with freshman Christopher Bradford leading the way with nine.
Bradford also poured in 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to go with four steals and two blocks, which led COC in every category.
Starters Zach Phipps and Jah-Kez Moore each scored 19 points in the game, with freshman Joel Carrillo coming off the bench to finish with 19 on a 6-of-10 shooting night. Moore also recorded seven rebounds in the game.
Phipps did most of his damage early with 13 points coming in the first half to help pace the Cougars in the early going. Bradford also had a hot start with 11 points and eight rebounds across the first 20 minutes of play.
Canyons opened up an 16-point advantage with 5:37 to go in the first half on a three-point shot from Phipps and a layup from Moore on back-to-back possessions. The Cougars eventually took a 42-22 lead into halftime.
West Hills Coalinga (0-12) received 23 points from guard Trevon Perry and kept pace with COC"s second-half output, but never really got back into the game.
The Falcons shot over 40 percent from the field and were outrebounded 40-17 in the game, nabbing just two offensive boards.
The Cougars are back in action Wednesday, Dec. 11, on the road at Chaffey College. That game is scheduled to tip at 5 p.m.
