GLENDORA, Calif. — The College of the Canyons men's soccer team won its third consecutive game with a convincing 5-1 effort at the expense of WSC rival Citrus College.
Canyons (10-2-5, 8-1-5) was slow to get on the board, with the Cougars forced to wait until the 38rd minute before finally finding the back of the net. That's when forward Andres Lozano scored his fifth goal of the season, on an assist from Johnathan Noriega, to give COC a 1-0 advantage.
Citrus managed to keep it close until the 55th minute, but that's when COC exploded!
Lozano scored his second goal of the game to give Canyons a 2-1 advantage, and the Cougars never looked back.
Camacho was next to find the stat sheet, on an assist from Philip Boscacci. Head coach Phil Marellin would see his team score three goals in the ensuing 22 minutes, with Giancarlo Gamboa, Thomas Pugliese and Shun Sekiguchi all scoring the Cougars.

Canyons will play its final home game of the regular season on Friday, Nov. 7, at The Master's College.
