Jeremy Anderson begins his first season as an assistant coach with the College of the Canyons swim & dive program in 2017.
Anderson arrives at COC with more than 20 years of coaching experience, including the previous 12 years spent with the Canyons Aquatic Club Team in Santa Clarita. During that time Anderson has coached swimmers from throughout the local high school and collegiate ranks.
Anderson has served as the head age group coach for Canyons Aquatics since 2005 where he has developed swimming curriculum while coaching multiple age groups. He is also the head coach and organizer of the Southern California Swimming All Stars teams, where he supervises a staff of 20 coaches and managers, along with more than 80 swimmers.
In 2013, Anderson founded his business H2Open Swim which works to introduce swimmers to open water competitions in conjunction with both the City of Santa Clarita and the Los Angeles Country Department of Parks and Recreation.
Anderson was also head coach of the Thousand Oaks High School swim team for the 2005 season.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Southern Utah University.
Anderson resides in Santa Clarita.
