Six Cougars Claim All-Conference Honors en Route to WSC Title

The COC women's golf team finished in first place at the WSC Finals held Oct. 26-27 at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena to win the program's first conference championship since 2010.

Freshman Tiffany Whittaker carded a 166 (82/84) to lead all Cougars, while sophomore Andrea Webster turned in a score of 82 on Monday to take the team's second spot at 170.
Denmark native Elisabeth Mortensen would finish at 175 (88/87) while freshman Julia Youn took head coach Gary Peterson's final qualifying spot at 177 (92/85).
In addition to winning the program's eighth conference title, all six COC golfers have been named to the 2014 All-WSC team – a school first for both the men's and women's golf programs.
Freshman Alexis Miller and sophomore Kathy Quock join Whittaker, Webster, Mortensen and Youn as all-conference selections.
COC assistant coach Carla Loomis was named conference coach of the year.
