The College of the Canyons women's golf team competed in Western State Conference (WSC) tourney No. 2 at Santa Barbara Golf Course on Monday, with two Cougars placing among the top five finishers.

COC freshman Aeleen Brott led the way with an 18-hole score of 82 to place third among the field of 28 golfers.

Brott is also currently tied for third place in the individual conference standings.

Canyons sophomore Amanda Horii tied for fifth place at the event with her a score of 86.
Horri currently ranks seventh in the conference.

The Cougars will next host WSC Tourney No. 3 on Monday, Sept. 19, at Elkins Ranch Golf Course in Filmore.
