Bio

Justin Lundin enters his 16h season at the helm of the College of the Canyons women’s soccer program, and 19th season overall at the college, in 2023.

He began his tenure at COC as an assistant coach in 2006, sharing duties between both the men’s and women’s soccer programs. 

In his 15 years as head coach of the women’s team, Lundin has led the program to a combined record of 190-61-47 and eight Western State Conference (WSC) Championships (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2021).

As a result, Lundin has been named the WSC Coach of the Year in seven seasons, most recently in 2021.

Additionally, the Cougars ended the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2023 seasons ranked nationally in the Top 20 for community college soccer programs.

Under Lundin’s direction, 43 players from the COC women’s soccer program have gone on to continue their playing careers at four-year schools.

Lundin is a graduate of California State University, Northridge, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in physical education, and a master’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise physiology.

He holds a National C license from the US Soccer Federation, an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, and a Certificate from AC Milan for completing the Milan Academy Formational School in Milan, Italy.

Lundin and his wife, Susan, reside in Castaic with their four children Grace, Anneliese, Kieran, and Gabrielle.
