Kieran Bye / Men's Golf
College of the Canyons freshman Kieran Bye (men's golf) has been named the COC Athletic Department's Men's Student-Athlete of the Week for the period running May 9-16.
Bye was the Cougars’ top scorer on a day in which COC claimed the 2022 CCCAA State Championship, its second in a row and state-record 10th in program history.
The freshman from Bath, England carded a 36-hole score of 141 (71/70) to finish three-under-par on the day. That performance placed Bye third in the field of 56 golfers from across the state.
As a result, Bye was named to the CCCAA All-State Team.
