Bio
Elliott Reyes begins his first season as a member of the Cougar football coaching staff in 2018.
Reyes serves as the team’s linebackers coach, while also assisting with special teams, strength and conditioning and recruiting operations.
Prior to joining the staff at Canyons, Reyes served two seasons as a special teams coordinator and strength and conditioning coach at L.A Pierce College. He was also an assistant coach at Chatsworth High School for four seasons and spent a season at San Fernando High School as a strength and conditioning coach with that program.
Reyes played linebacker at Chatsworth before starring at L.A. Pierce College and later California Lutheran University, where he received all-conference honors while earning a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
Reyes is a special education instructor in the Los Angeles Unified School District, as well as the founder and CEO of Team Elite Protection. He also volunteers his time mentoring at-risk youth.
Reyes currently resides in Los Angeles and enjoys spending time with his daughter Jayleen and girlfriend Natalie.
