Bio

James Pazak begins his second season as a member of the Cougars football coaching staff in 2022.

Known as ‘Coach P’ by his players, Pazak serves as the team’s assistant defensive backs coach, while also assisting with the scout team and film analysis.

Prior to beginning his coaching career Pazak enjoyed a successful run as a high school, collegiate and professional player. He played cornerback and wide receiver on the Horizon High School 1994 State Championship team. After high school, Pazak continued his athletic career by playing both football and basketball at University of Redlands, earning all-conference accolades at cornerback during the 1997 and 1998 seasons.

He then signed with the Bergamo Lions of the Italian Football League, helping the franchise win the coveted Eurobowl in 2000, 2001 and 2002 and the Superbowl Italiano in 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003.

Pazak lives in Valencia with his wife, Tiffany, and their boys Jamo, Paulo and Mo.
