Three College of the Canyons men’s basketball players were named to the Western State Conference, North Division, All-Conference team, as voted on by the conference coaches.

Sophomore guard David Horst had 26 points to lead all scorers, but it was not enough to get the College of the Canyons men’s basketball team past San Bernardino Valley College, as the Cougars dropped a 77-62 decision in the championship game of the Gregg Anderson Memorial Tournament.

In a game that featured eight ties and 15 lead changes, the College of the Canyons men's basketball could not sustain Santa Monica College who was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line down the stretch and COC dropped a 79-73 decision in the consolation bracket of the San Juan Hills Classic on Friday afternoon.
