Canyons Wins Again 75-71 vs. Chaffey
The Cougars (6-1) were led by Andrew Henderson (24) and Jimmy Galgano who combined for 39 points in the game.

Freshman Andrew Henderson and Jimmy Galgano combined for 39 points as College of the Canyon defeated Chaffey College 75-71 on Alumni Day at the Cougar Cage last Saturday.
Canyons (5-1) has continued its hot start, winning a second consecutive game after dropping its lone contest, a point affair vs. Ventura College, the week prior.
The Panthers (1-4) played Canyons close throughout, with COC able to scratch out a slim 37-36 advantage in the opening half.
Henderson was 4-of-6 in the opening period to head into halftime with 10 points. He eventually finished the game with 23 points and seven rebounds.
Galgano's highlights mostly came in the second half with the freshman sinking a pair of three-pointers and pulling down five rebounds. He finished the game with a season-high 16 points.
Caden Arnold led the Cougars with five assists to go with eight points. Dillon Barrientos had four assists, five rebounds and five points.
Corwin Smith led the Cougars' reserves with eight points in five minutes.
The Panthers received big games from Eulysses Foston and Jozelle Carter who ended the game with 17 and 14 points, respectively. Chaffey starter Kristian Curl added 12 points. Carter led all players with nine rebounds.
Canyons is not in action until a Nov. 30, road trip to Long Beach City College. That game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. tip.
COC then returns to the Cougar Cage on Friday, Dec. 3 vs. San Diego Mesa.
