Men's Golf Finishes in Fifth Place at The Eagle Golf Classic
The College of the Canyons men’s golf team turned in a 387, to finish in fifth place at The Eagle Golf Classic at the Country Club at Soboba Springs on Friday afternoon.

SAN JACINTO, Calif. – The College of the Canyons men's golf team turned in a 387, to finish in fifth place at The Eagle Golf Classic at the Country Club at Soboba Springs on Friday afternoon.
Santiago Canyon won the tournament with a 360, Santa Barbara came in second after carding a 376 and Ventura College carded a 385 for third place. Cypress College finished in fourth, one stroke ahead of COC.
Sophomore Sidney Wolf carded the best Cougar score of the day with a 74. Aaron Grimes tallied a 75 and Michael Steward turned in a 78. Jonas Guriby Dahl and Clayton Chatterley both had 80s and Edouard Fiszel posted an 81.
The Cougars will travel to Rio Bravo Golf Course on Monday, Feb. 24 for the third conference tournament of the season.
