College of the Canyons suffered a 7-2 home loss to conference opponent Ventura College on Monday, in a match that had been previously rained out and subsequently rescheduled. 

Ruth Kedrowski represented the loan singles match winner for Canyons.

The doubles duo of Marisa Wambolt and Brienna Best also claimed an 8-2 match victory. 

Canyons (3-11) remains in sixth place in the Western State Conference standings.

  • Figalan/Cranert (COC) lost to Meschke/De Marco (VC) — 8-1

Canyons (3-11) will next travel to Glendale College at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 27.
