LANCASTER, Calif. – The College of the Canyons volleyball team bounced back from its first conference loss of the season with a 3-1 (25-18, 25-2, 21-25, 25-22) victory over Antelope Valley College on Wednesday night in Lancaster. With the win, COC improves to 15-3 and 6-1 in Western State Conference play.
Freshman Serena LeDuff posted a team-high 13 kills, while also leading the team with 18 digs. Freshman Lauren Underwood notched 12 kills and sophomore Jordan Carter has 13 digs. Carter paced the offense with 32 assists and freshman Camari McWright led the defense with two blocks.
Canyons returns to action on Friday as the Cougars are set to face West L.A. at 6 p.m.
