Bio
Nathan Sparks begins his 11th season as an assistant coach with the College of the Canyons women's volleyball program.
Sparks originally joined the COC staff as a volunteer assistant coach in 2012. Included among his many duties is time spent working with the team’s middle blockers.
He is also the former head coach of the West Ranch varsity boy's volleyball program with his final season at the helm coming in 2017. Prior to serving in the head coaching position at West Ranch, Sparks served as an assistant with the men’s and women’s freshman and junior varsity teams at his alma mater Valencia High School.
Sparks was also a member of Valencia’s 2003 CIF Championship men’s volleyball team, having played alongside COC head coach Clay Timmons.
He resides in Valencia.
