Cougar Pitcher Brendan Henry Named CCCBCA Player of the Week
Henry allowed just three hits and issued no walks in a 7-0 shutout victory over Santa Ana College on March 1.

College of the Canyons sophomore starting pitcher Brendan Henry has been named the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association (CCCBCA) Southern California Pitcher of the Week for the period running Feb. 25 to March 2.
The Hart High School grad was stellar in his start vs. Santa Ana College, tossing a complete game shutout victory on Friday, March 1. Canyons won the contest 7-0.
Henry allowed just three hits and issued no walks in the game, striking struck out seven while facing 28 batters, just one over the minimum.
The win was the first of the season for Henry. The sophomore right-hander leads the Cougars with a 3.69 ERA across a team-high 31 and 2/3 innings.
