The College of the Canyons men's basketball team won its fourth straight game on Saturday, earning an 80-66 victory over visiting Barstow College in the opening round of the 25th Annual Cougar Holiday Classic.
Canyons (8-4) had five players score double-digit points, led by sophomore guard Coley Apsay (16 points) and freshman Chance Cole (15 points).
Sophomore forward Tullio Parry finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds, while freshman guard Victor Nwaba ended the night with 11 points including a thunderous dunk late in the game that helped seal the victory for COC.
Sophomore forward Ricardo Greaves scored 12 points off the bench for the Cougars.
In earlier action, Orange Coast College defeated LA Trade Tech College 90-69. As a result, Canyons will square off against OCC in the tournament's championship game at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Barstow and L.A. Trade Tech will tip off at 3 p.m.
