Three Straight Conference Wins for COC Men’s Golf
COC sophomore Eric Kim tied for second place at the tournament with an individual score of 75.
The College of the Canyons men's golf team won a Western State Conference (WSC) golf tournament for the third consecutive week with a narrow two-stroke win over Santa Barbara City College at Rio Bravo Country Club in Bakersfield.
Canyons turned in a team score of 386, beating out second place SBCC (388) by single-digit strokes in back-to-back weeks.
Third place Ventura College carded a 394 and Citrus College followed in fourth at 406.
COC sophomore Eric Kim tied for second place at the tournament with an individual score of 75. His accomplishment also marked the second consecutive week a Canyons golfer finished tied for second place.
Cougars Cammy Booster and Noah Bernstein each carded a 76 to finish tied for sixth place overall.
Glendale, Bakersfield, Allan Hancock and Antelope Valley College all participated as well.
