Canyons Wins Fifth Tourney of Season at San Dimas Canyon

The College of the Canyons men's golf team took first place at Western State Conference (WSC) Tournament No. 6 at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course on Monday, marking the sixth event this season that the Cougars have finished in first place.

COC had four golfers finish in the top 10 on Monday, with freshman Will Barnett leading the field with his score of 72.
Canyons freshman Matt Cheng finished tied for fourth with his mark of 74.
Freshman Ben Campbell finished ninth with a score of 75 and sophomore Cameron Boomer finished tied for tenth with a 76.
Canyons will next compete in a WSC tournament hosted by Allan Hancok College at Santa Maria Country Club on April 4.
