MOORPARK, Calif. – The College of the Canyons men's soccer team continued its five-game unbeaten streak with 6-0 demolition of Moorpark College on Friday.
Six different Cougars added their names to the score sheet in a game that saw COC dominate throughout the 90 minutes.
COC's Jesus Pescador notched his fifth goal of the season in the closing minutes of the first half to give the Cougars a 1-0 halftime lead.
The second half saw COC open up the game and the lead with goals from Brayon Rodriguez, Andres Lozano, Thomas Pugliese, Juan Camacho and Abidel Harrison.
The Cougars continue their hot streak, scoring eight goals over their last three games while allowing only one. It was also COC's third shutout of the season.
The victory boosts College of the Canyons record to 4-1-2 overall and 2-0-2 against conference opponents.
Canyons will next hosts Allan Hancock College at at 4 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 30, on the college's upper field.
