No. 7 Cougars Host No. 10 Mt. San Jacinto In Round Two Of Regional Playoffs
College of the Canyons women's basketball team earned a No. 7 seed in the Southern California Regional Playoffs and will host No. 10 Mt. San Jacinto on Friday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m.

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – College of the Canyons women's basketball team earned a No. 7 seed in the Southern California Regional Playoffs and will host No. 10 Mt. San Jacinto on Friday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m.
The 2010 Western State Conference, South Division champions College of the Canyons finished the regular season with a 22-7 record and a 11-1 record in conference play.
No. 11 Mt. San Jacinto finished with a record of 21-8 and 11-3 in the Foothill Conference.
Mt. San Jacinto and COC are no strangers to meeting each other in post-season play. The Cougars defeated the Eagles at home 67-61 in 2007 and 81-77 in 2009.
Also in the Cougars' bracket is No. 3 Mt. SAC, a team the Cougars already beat this season, and No. 2 San Bernardino Valley College.
The winner of the game will take on the winner of No. 2 San Bernardino/winner of the play-in game between No. 15 Santa Barbara and No. 18 L.A. Trade Tech game on Wednesday, March 2.
