Cougars Finish The Regular Season With Two Second-Place Finishes
The College of the Canyons women’s golf team finished out the regular season by finishing in second place in the final two rounds of the Western State Conference Championship on Sunday and Monday afternoon at Alisal Ranch Golf Course.
SOLVANG, Calif. – The College of the Canyons women's golf team finished out the regular season by finishing in second place in the final two rounds of the Western State Conference Championship on Sunday and Monday afternoon at Alisal Ranch Golf Course.
On day one, the Cougars saw Andrea Webster and Chelsea Reed lead the team with 83s. The rest of the Cougar's were not that far behind after Kaylie Sadlon and Madison Lomas tallied 84s for a 334 team total.
On day two, Windsor turned in the tournament low with her 83. Webster tallied a 85, Chelsea Reed had an 86 and Sadlon turned in an 87, to round out the Cougar's 341.
The Cougars will return to action on Monday, Nov. 10 as they travel back to Alisal Ranch for the Southern California Championships.
