College of the Canyons offers two Sports Medicine certificates, one credit and one noncredit, for those students interested in pursuing a career in the field of Sports Medicine.

Career options in the field include, but are not limited to, Sports Medicine Physicians, Orthopedic Surgeons, Athletic Trainers, and Physical Therapists.

The program offered at College of the Canyons allows students a unique opportunity to enroll in sports medicine classes that combine formal classroom instruction as well as hands-on lab experiences.
