College of the Canyons hosts El Camino College at Cougar Stadium on Homecoming Night, in a Southern California Football Association (SCFA) National Division, Northern League contest. Kickoff is 6 p.m. 

Thursday's game is being broadcast to fans free of charge via YouTube on the Cougars Sports Network through a partnership with SoCalCollegeSports.com.

COC is ranked No. 8 in the state according to both the JC Athletic Bureau Head Coaches Poll and the California Community College Sports Information Association (CCCSIA) poll released Oct. 7. El Camino is currently the No. 17 ranked team in the coaches poll and No. 15 in the CCCSIA rankings. 

Canyons (4-1, 2-0) has now won four straight contests since suffering a week one loss to Citrus College. The Cougars headed into the bye week on the heels of a 48-7 road victory at Antelope Valley College. That contest was highlighted by freshman quarterback Logan Scarlett's performance, which included five passing touchdowns.

El Camino (3-2, 2-0) has won back-to-back games at Moorpark College and vs. Bakersfield College to begin conference competition. Prior to that, the Warriors suffered a narrow week two loss to Palomar College and were then handed a sizeable defeat by Riverside City College in the following contest.

Canyons and El Camino also did battle in 2023 with the Cougars taking a 31-21 road victory.
