Canyons Football to Host Third Annual Super Saturday Skills & Drills Clinic
The College of the Canyons football program will host its third annual Super Saturday Skills & Drills Clinic on Saturday, Feb. 8, as part the annual 'Big Game' weekend.
Registration for the one-day clinic is now open.
Running from 8 to 10:30 a.m. inside Cougar Stadium, the one-day, non-contact clinic is open to youth players ages 6 to 17 and will cover, basic agility training, position work, 7-on-7 drills and a whole lot of fun. The cost is $60 per player.
Participating players will be organized by age, experience and position, with all camp drills led by current Canyons football coaches and student-athletes.
Attendees will have the opportunity to compete in the same position-specific drills and instructional environment as current Cougars players.
The day's session will conclude with some friendly Cougar competitions designed to help prepare players ahead of the upcoming football seasons.
Event day check in begins at 7 a.m. Food and beverages will be available for sale onsite with spectators invited.
