Cougars Tie Compton In Final Non-Conference Match
The College of the Canyons men's soccer team held off Compton College until the 84th minute when the team tied the score up at 1-1 and the Cougars tied visiting Compton in their final non-conference match of the season.

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - The College of the Canyons men's soccer team held off Compton College until the 84th minute when the team tied the score up at 1-1 and the Cougars tied visiting Compton in their final non-conference match of the season.
The men are now 1-4-2 heading into conference play on Tuesday against Mission College.
Uriel Rodriguez netted the Cougar's lone goal on a pass from Abel Hinjosa in the fourth minute of play, as COC's offense was stunted for the rest of the game.
David Garcia played all 90 minutes in goal, making one save. Canyons out shot Compton 15-11 on the day. Hinjosa and Maayan Schrager each notched three shots, with one on goal.
