SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - The men's soccer team notched its first win of the season today with a 1-0 victory over visiting Gavilan, in the team's season home opener.
Jordan Markovich scored COC's goal in the ninth minute with an indirect kick that soared to the left corner of the net. Hector Leon had three saves in goal for 50 minutes.
The Cougars are now 1-1-1 and will now travel to West Hills Lemoore for a match on Friday, Sept. 7 at 4 p.m.
