College of the Canyons softball team gave up five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, allowing Riverside City College to sneak past Canyons, 8-5, in the second game of a double header on Friday evening.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – College of the Canyons softball team gave up five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, allowing Riverside City College to sneak past Canyons, 8-5, in the second game of a double header on Friday evening.
Kori Cochran was 4-of-5 and Ashley Sandoval-Colon went 3-of-5 with two RBIs and a double.
Starter Milana Casillas threw 3.1 innings and gave up six hits and two runs. Morgan Simmons (7-7) tossed 2.2 innings and gave up five hits in a losing effort.
