MOORPARK, Calif. – The College of the Canyons softball team earned 18 runs on 10 hits to lift Canyons past Moorpark College, 18-2, on Saturday afternoon at Moorpark College.

Second baseman Karlee Bickford was 3-of-3 with five RBIs and a home run. First baseman Kaitlyn Shreves went 2-of-3 on the afternoon with three RBIs and 7-of-the-9 COC batters had at least one hit.

Morgan Simmons tossed 5.0 innings and gave up five hits and two runs. She struck out two and walked one in her win.
