The Cougars scored five runs in the first two innings of play and never relinquished the lead.
The top of head coach John Wissmath's lineup was firing on all cylinders, with Cheynne Steward, Kaitlyn Shreves and Lauren Anderson combining to score five of the Cougars runs.
Anderson finished the day 3-for-3 with two RBIs, while Steward was 3-for-4 with an RBI.
COC center fielder Erica Esparza and Casillas each stole a base and recorded two hits apiece.
