Cougars Drop 1-0 Game to Mt. SAC
The two teams played five scoreless innings before the Mounties were able to push one across for the 1-0 win.

College of the Canyons suffered a 1-0 home loss to Mt. San Antonio College on Thursday, as the Cougars gave up a late run and were not able to overcome the Mounties' lead.
Canyons (17-11, 10-0) and Mt. SAC (22-5, 6-2) entered the sixth inning tied 0-0 when a dropped fly ball and a double to score the runner gave the Mounties a 1-0 advantage.
The Cougars tried to battle back against Mt. SAC's Briana Wheeler (11-3) with a double and a stolen base by Katie Clinkunbroomer, but were unsuccessful.
Lyndra Fenald went 2-for-3 on the day. Clinkunbroomer went 1-for-2 on the day with a double and a stolen base.
COC starter Katie Taix allowed two hits and two walks in two and 1/3 innings.
Joy Veloz took the loss after coming on in relief. Veloz allowed one run on two hits and a walk, while striking out three.
