COC Diver Alexis Kearns Makes a Splash at Fist WSC Meet

The College of the Canyons women's dive team had a successful start to the season, as COC swimmer/diver Alexis Kearns got the diving portion of her season started with a pair of victories at WSC dive meet No. 1, held at L.A. Valley College on Feb. 26.

Kearns — the lone diver on COC's women's team — finished first in both the women's 1-meter and 3-meter dive events.

The freshman is also scheduled to participate in WSC Swim Meet No. 1, hosted by College of the Canyons at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center on Friday, Feb. 28.

The COC dive team will next compete at WSC dive meet No. 1, held at L.A. Valley College on Saturday, March 21.
