COC Diver Picks Up Another First Place Finish

Kearns sweeps women's 1m and 3m events.

COC swimmer/diver Alexis Kearns had another big weekend for the Cougars.

The freshman took home first place honors in the 1-meter women's springboard event and second place in the 3-meter women's springboard during WSC Dive Meet No. 2 held at L.A. Valley College on Thursday, March 19.

Kearns also took first place in both events, at WSC Dive Meet No. 1 back on Feb. 26.

The next day Kearns competed with the COC swim team at WSC swim meet No. 2 held at Citrus College, where she proceeded to take first place in the 50-yard freestyle event with a time of 27.15 seconds.
