COC freshman Jessie Kim capped his season with a sixth place mark in the 100-yard backstroke with a school record time of 52.79.

COC swimmers William Karren (100-yard butterfly), Jennifer Yamauchi (100-yard backstroke) and Jessie Kim (100-yard backstroke & 200-yard backstroke) all win WSC titles.

COC sophomore Jennifer Yamauchi represented the Cougars' only first place finish with a time of 2:15.71 in the 200-yard backstroke.

COC combines to win six events as women's team finishes a season best second place and men's team takes third. The program's 102 combined event points also represented a meet best.

Scott joins a select list of 18 student-athletes across the state to earn recognition as a member of the CCCAA Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.

COC freshman Jessie Kim won the 200-yard backstroke on the men's side while Jennifer Yamauchi won the 1000-yard freestyle event at 11:47.57.

COC freshman Jessie Kim continued his strong start to the season with a pair of first place finishes in the 100-yard backstroke (54.31) and the 100-yard individual medley (55.17).

Five different Cougars finished first in their respective events.

The COC men’s team tied for sixth place in the field of eight, while the women’s team was 15th among the 21 competing schools.

COC freshman Tyler Tran finished the event No. 2 overall, and sophomore Jennifer Yamauchi ranked sixth on the women's side.
