2018 College of the Canyons Swim & Dive News

Rowdy Feather and Jennifer Yamauchi represented Canyons at the 2018 CCCAA Swim & Dive State Championship Meet hosted by De Anza College.

COC sophomore Jennifer Yamauchi (100y backstroke & 200y backstroke) and Rowdy Feather (400y IM) combine for three conference titles.
COC’s 200y freestyle relay team of Nick Anguetta, Miguel Martinez, Rowdy Feather and Ian Werner clocked a school-record time of 1:28.35 to place third in the event.

Canyons also combined for seven top-three finishes on the day.

COC freshman Miguel Martinez was top finisher on the men's side taking second place in both the 200y butterfly and 200y breaststroke events.

COC freshman Rowdy Feather was a two-event winner for the Cougars, taking first 200y IM and 100y backstroke events.

COC sophomore Jennifer Yamauchi was the lone event winner for the Cougars, taking first place in the 100y backstroke at a time of 1:03.07.
