Canyons Hits 100 Point Mark With Win Over West L.A.

CULVER CITY, Calif. - Behind Ashley Wakefield's season-high 30 points and 15 rebounds, the College of the Canyons Cougars defeated West Los Angeles, 103-79 to remain alone atop the Western State Conference with a record of 9-0 (20-8 overall).
Three other players scored in double figures: Arielle White had 19 points, Charity Smith had 18 and 16 rebounds, while Britney Bradley added 12 points and 10 assists.
The Lady Cougars reached the 100 point mark for the first time this season and will host LA Valley on Saturday, February 14. Former All-State Cougar La Cresha Clark will be inducted into the Cougar Hall of Fame in a ceremony at halftime of the game with LA Valley.
