GLENDORA, Calif. - The College of the Canyons women's basketball team overcame a four-point first quarter deficit on Saturday night to defeat Citrus College, 92-73.
The Cougars put up 56 points in the second half of the Western State Conference match-up and shot 53.7 percent (22-41) from the field.
Starter Ashley Wakefield tallied her 12th double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds. She also added seven assists. Arielle White had another great night with a game high 26 points. She has averaged 21.0 ppg during the past three contests.
The Cougars will host Bakersfield College on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m.
