Wakefield's 21 Fuels Win Against Oxnard

OXNARD, Calif. - The College of the Canyons Cougars won their fifth straight game behind a strong 45-19 first half effort at Oxnard, 78-48. Ashley Wakefield scored 21 points, going 9-of- 11 from the foul line, and had 12 rebounds. Joslynn Frazier's 12, Samantha Cross' 12, and Dominque Turner's 10 led the Cougars' scoring parade. The Cougars will put their modest win streak on the line on Wednesday, December 30, versus El Camino at home.
