Wakefield And Cougars Run Over Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - College of the Canyons women's basketball team improved to 2-0 in Western State Conference, South Division, play on Wednesday night with a 88-62 win against Bakersfield College. Ashley Wakefield had another stellar game, turning in 15 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists for her first career triple-double and Joslynn Frazier led the team with 28 points. The Cougars will travel to L.A. Valley College on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 5:30 p.m.
