COC Opens Conference Season Victory Against West L.A.
The Cougars had the game in their hands from the start of the conference home opener against West L.A. on Wednesday night as COC built a 42-24 halftime lead to only keep the pressure on the Wildcats and win 81-58.

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - The Cougars had the game in their hands from the start of the conference home opener against West L.A. on Wednesday night as COC built a 42-24 halftime lead to only keep the pressure on the Wildcats and win 81-58. COC had a balanced attack with five players scoring in double figures, including 14 points each for Dominique Turner and Ashley Mason, who came off the bench. Joslynn Frazier took down 15 rebounds to go with her 14 points and Samantha Cross also added 14 points in the Cougars' win. COC will take on Bakersfield College on the road on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 5:30 p.m.
