Cougars Drop Game To San Bernardino

In the third place game of the Mt. SAC Tip-Off Tournament, College of the Canyons was soundly defeated by San Bernardino Valley, 74-50, on Sunday.

WALNUT, Calif. - In the third place game of the Mt. SAC Tip-Off Tournament, College of the Canyons was soundly defeated by San Bernardino Valley, 74-50, on Sunday.

The Cougars were out-played and out-matched in almost every facet of the game as San Bernardino Valley jumped all over the Cougars early and often, cruising to a 42-21 halftime lead.

Amanda Ajdari finished with 16 points and was named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Cougars will go back to work and prepare for the College of the Sequoias, their first round opponent in the Ventura-Kiwanis Club Classic at Ventura College on Friday, Nov. 25.
